Christ the King’s Early Learning Center provides infants through five year-olds a challenging, stimulating, developmentally-appropriate educational program in a Christ-centered environment with low child to caregiver ratios. All programs are conducted in accordance with Idaho Early Learning Guidelines and the teachings and educational standards of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Our Early Learning Center sits at the back end of Christ the King Lutheran Church, tucked away amidst the tall ponderosa pine trees of downtown Coeur d’Alene. The Center provides large classrooms, a full-sized gym, industrial kitchen serving fresh snacks and meals, and plenty of fun outdoor space.
Since its founding in 2002, the primary focus of Christ the King’s Early Learning Center has been sharing the Good News of Jesus with the nearly 80 children and their families who participate in our Center’s programs each year. What an awesome opportunity God has given us to share Jesus’s love!

Our secondary focus is providing quality childcare and early education. Our teacher-guided curriculum is centered on the spiritual, social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of each child. Each week is enriched with chapel, music, athletics, dance, art, and gardening.
Partnering with IdahoSTARS and the Northwest District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, our Early Learning is strong in resources and support, affording us accolades in excellence in early child education. Our dedicated director, teachers, classroom aides, and families work together to create the best possible learning environment for all of our children. Each child is a gift from God.
